In 2015, Linda and Blake Gall supported a pilot program for Centre County high school students that Centre Foundation launched called Centre PACT (Philanthropic Actions Created by Teens). As strong community supporters themselves, the Galls were excited to see the next generation of philanthropists learning about their community's needs, finding their own voice, doing their own research, raising their own money, and ultimately making their own grants to meet those needs. The pilot program ended with great success as the seven founding students raised over $5,000 and made four grants to local organizations that matched their theme, "Setting Students up for Success." To ensure and expand the students' impact in future years, the Galls generously decided to open this fund, which complements the students' fundraising efforts and offers them greater latitude as they make their annual granting decisions each Spring.
