The Art Alliance of Central PA Fund was established through a bequest by Joan Lampman, whose unwavering dedication for 25 years contributed greatly to the Art Alliance. Joan served for several terms as the Recording Secretary on the Art Alliance Board of Directors and as the editor of the newsletter. As a classically trained artist, Joan exhibited her drawings, encaustics, collages, and imaginative watercolors—often produced in collaboration with other artists—at the Art Alliance and other local venues. For nearly 50 years, the Art Alliance has operated out of two separate, aging buildings in Lemont. Joan recognized the need for a larger home, so our mission is to work with community supporters to fulfil her bequest and bring more art to Central PA.
