This fund was created to honor the hard work, dedication, and tenacity of Fred and Elizabeth Bender and William Lytle and Edna Jeffrey Treager. Anne and Paul Bender decided to create this fund in honor of their families. Anne and Paul felt that this was an appropriate way to thank their parents for working so hard to provide for their families, and who, in spite of adversity, always looked for opportunities to take care of their children. Anne and Paul established this fund to give back to this community that has been so good to them. As a donor advised fund, the recipient organizations may change each year depending on where the donor-advisors see the greatest need.
